Dr. Christopher O'Grady was recently among the first physicians in the country to earn the certificate of added qualification in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. This denotes his committment to excellence in the care of athletes of all ages He is board certified and received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopaedics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He was an orthopaedic surgeon for four years at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola.
Dr. O'Grady will assist patients in returning to sports and/or active lifestyles through both operative and non-operative treatment of the musculoskeletal system. Dr. O'Grady treats painful conditions resulting from injury, overuse or arthritis. He performs joint replacement and reconstructive surgery using minimally invasive methods. He also utilizes the latest techniques in arthoscopic surgery for the treatment of shoulder and knee.
