Dr. Benton has practiced orthopaedics in Pensacola since 1986. A Florida State University and University of Alabama graduate, he completed his internship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Bowman Gray School of Medicine and Wake Forest University. Dr. Benton then went on to complete his residency training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Benton is past president of the Escambia County Medical Society and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Southern Medical Association and the Florida Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Benton practices general orthopaedics specializing in sports medicine, trauma, spinal, arthroscopic and joint replacement surgery. His practice also includes non-surgical treatment techniques of sports, bone and joint injuries and disorders.
