Dr. Chandler received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering from Tulane University before receiving his medical degree and completing his internship and residency at the University of Southern California Medical School. He also held a spine fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, CA. A former chairman of the Department of Surgery at Baptist Hospital, Dr. Chandler is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Florida Orthopaedic Society, the Florida Medical Society, the Southern Medical Association and the academic honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Chandler practices general orthapedics, including arthroscopy and total joint replacement, while also specializing in spinal disorders and surgery including injections, stimulators, decompressions and fusions.
