Dr. Smith has practiced orthopaedics in Pensacola since 1983. He is a graduate of Auburn University and the Alabama School of Medicine where he was an inductee into Alpha Omega Alpha, an academic honor society. His internship and residency were completed Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Southern Medical Association and the Florida Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Smith was previously Orthopaedic Service Chief at Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Smith practices general orthopaedics specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopic reconstruction, joint replacement and spine surgery.
