Fernando E. Kafie, MD, FACS, is a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon practicing in Pensacola. Dr. Kafie specializes in the minimally invasive (no-scar) treatment of varicose and spider veins.
Dr. Kafie earned his medical degree from UCLA Medical School. He also performed his vascular fellowship at the prestigious Gonda Vascular Institute at UCLA Medical Center. He is double-boarded and has published dozens of articles and book chapters in prestigious medical journals. More recently, he was recognized as one of the few “Champion Surgeons” in the state of Florida by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
