MENU IDEA:

Fresh Fruit Crisp - Makes 9 Servings

6 cups apples, peaches or pears, peeled and thinly sliced (6-8 medium fruits)
1/4 cup apple juice
3 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins

2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

2 large eggs
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Topping:
1 cup oats, uncooked
1/2cup walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions:
Heat oven to 350° in large bowl, combine fruit and juice. Add sugar, flour and cinnamon; stir until fruit is evenly coated. Spoon into 8-inch square backing dish. Combine topping ingredients; mix well and sprinkle evenly over fruit.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until fruit is tender. Serve warm with light whipped topping, if desired.
