Laugh and Learn Arthritis

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report, which spans the six years from 1997 to 2003, detected a 25 percent jump in the number of adult Americans with arthritis and other rheumatic conditions. Overall, more than 46 million people now suffer from arthritis. First and foremost, you will learn what arthritis is and the treatment options available. These options will be explained and include the continuum from conservative to operative intervention. Total hip and knee replacements, at the one end of the continuum, will be discussed with hands on models for clarity.
Throughout the presentation, active involvement will be mandatory and sleep will result in an unexpected outcome. This will be a truly interactive process with the audience playing a key role. Questions are welcome and in fact mandatory.
